How about giving all these stock posts a forum of their own?
While Martket discussion is here for discussing business ideas, making reports isn't really discussing the market.
So how about making a new foum for stock information, stock ideas, IPOs and all that. Then people who are interrested in the subject can go there and read about them and those who aren't don't have them cluttering up Market Discussions
It will also make it easier for people who want to invest in stocks to do their research since they don't have to wade through non stock posts and search as many pages back.

Thanks for the tip. I wasn't actually thinking of /signed posts tbh. More along the lines of seeing if people agree or disagree and what their opinions are.
Actually, thinking about it, signed is a sign of that  .
So, since you're a mod and have seen this... should I send a copy of this to the email adress anyway or has it been "noted" now?

Ok, looking over the first page of the forum I'm starting to get annoyed again with all the stock posts that I currently just don't have the least interest in.

Ok, time to post here again cause it's starting to get more and more annoying.
The Market Discussions used to be the first sub-forum I read when I logged into the eve website.
These days I look at it maybe once every week or two weeks. It's just filled up with all these IPO threads that are so much clutter (for me) that finding interresting stuff becomes too much work.
And from my observation, as the IPO threads increase in number less and less of the general market discussion is taking place. Most of the threads on general Market discussion these days are new players asking questions (no offence meant, this is the perfect place for that) and none of the lively and interresting stuff that used to spring up here every week or two.

If it manages to allow the Market Discussion to go back to how the used to be before this IPO craze, I'm all for it.
But unless CCP does it with a new forum I doubt it will really have that effect.
Also I have mailed the mods and been told this will be considered next time forum changes come up. So I let it generally rest and just repost here when it REALLY starts to annoy me again (every now and then). I'm just sad that all the great threads, discussions and exchanges that used to be held here don't happen anymore.
It's mostly all about IPOs (sooner or later some of them are going to go the way of the tulips...)
